Privacy policy
Last updated: 1 August 2026
Short version: Ferrostorm collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party SDKs. The game plays entirely offline, and your saves stay on your device.
1. Who we are
Ferrostorm is developed and published by Cauldron One Development, established in the Netherlands. For anything in this policy, contact support@cauldron.one.
2. What the game collects
Nothing. Ferrostorm does not ask you to create an account, does not request your name, email address or any other personal information, and does not transmit gameplay data anywhere. There is no advertising and no analytics or tracking code in the game.
3. What stays on your device
The game stores its data locally on your device only:
- Game settings (audio volume, control preferences)
- Saved games and skirmish progress
This data never leaves your device through the game. You can remove it at any time by deleting the app.
4. What the app stores may collect
You install Ferrostorm through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Those platforms may collect data independently of us, such as purchase records, crash reports and aggregated usage diagnostics, under their own privacy policies:
If Apple or Google forwards us an anonymized crash report, we use it only to fix the bug it describes. It contains no personal data we can trace to you.
5. This website
This website is static and serves no cookies, uses no tracking and loads no resources from third parties. Like any web server, ours keeps standard technical logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp) for a short period, solely to keep the site running and secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
6. Children
Because Ferrostorm collects no personal data at all, it also collects no data from children.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port personal data, and to object to its processing. Since the game holds no personal data about you, there is usually nothing for us to look up - but if you believe otherwise, or have any question, email support@cauldron.one and we will respond. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
8. Changes to this policy
If a future update ever changes what the game does with data (for example, an optional online multiplayer mode), we will update this policy first and note it in the app store release notes. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
